Building a Long-Term Growth System for a Premium Pergola Brand
Penef is a home improvement brand focused primarily on bioclimatic pergolas — a premium, high-consideration product where trust, presentation, and timing play a major role in the buying decision.
The project started in 2023 and is still ongoing.
The goal was not just to run ads. The goal was to build a complete digital acquisition system: a modern website, strong creative assets, and paid campaigns across Meta and Google that could consistently generate relevant demand.

The Challenge
Bioclimatic pergolas are not an impulse purchase.
Customers usually need time to compare options, understand the product, evaluate the supplier, and decide whether it is the right investment for their home. That makes the buying journey longer and more demanding than in low-ticket e-commerce.
Penef needed a marketing system that could support the full customer journey — from first awareness to final inquiry.
The challenge was to:
- present the product in a premium and trustworthy way
- generate attention through strong visual creatives
- capture people actively searching for pergola solutions
- improve the conversion rate of paid traffic
- create a website that could turn visitors into inquiries
- continuously optimize campaigns based on performance data
The Solution
I created and continue to manage a complete digital growth system for Penef.
This included building their website using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, creating the advertising creatives, and managing paid campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads.
The website was built with conversion rate optimization in mind. Instead of acting as a basic online brochure, it was structured as a sales asset that supports the buying decision, explains the offer clearly, and helps turn paid traffic into leads.
The paid advertising strategy was then built around two main acquisition channels:
Meta Ads for demand generation, visual product communication, and remarketing.
Google Ads for capturing high-intent users actively searching for pergolas, bioclimatic pergolas, and related outdoor shading solutions.
Together, the website, creatives, and campaigns created a connected system where every part supports the next step in the customer journey.
Website & Conversion Rate Optimization
For Penef, I built a modern website using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
The website was designed to support conversion, not just look good.
The structure focuses on helping visitors quickly understand what Penef offers, why bioclimatic pergolas are valuable, and why they should request more information.
The website was optimized around:
- clear product communication
- strong first impression
- mobile-friendly user experience
- fast loading speed
- trust-building sections
- simple inquiry flow
- conversion-focused layout
- persuasive product presentation
For a high-ticket product like a bioclimatic pergola, the website plays a crucial role. It has to reduce doubt, build confidence, and make the next step feel easy.
Creative Production
I also created the advertising creatives used in Penef’s campaigns.
This was an important part of the strategy because bioclimatic pergolas are highly visual products. The customer needs to immediately see the lifestyle benefit: a more comfortable garden, a better terrace, shade during hot days, protection from weather, and a more premium outdoor living space.
The creatives were developed to support different angles across the funnel, including:
- lifestyle-focused visuals
- product-focused creatives
- seasonal offers and demand angles
- benefit-driven messages
- remarketing creatives
- simple direct-response ads
- visual assets for Meta campaigns
Instead of relying on generic stock-style visuals, the creatives were built to communicate the product clearly and make the offer feel desirable.
Meta Ads
Meta Ads were used primarily to create demand and reach relevant audiences before they actively started searching.
The campaigns focused on visual communication, testing different messages, and finding angles that could attract potential customers at the right stage of awareness.
The Meta strategy included:
- cold audience campaigns
- lead generation campaigns
- remarketing campaigns
- creative testing
- message testing
- seasonal campaign adjustments
- performance-based optimization
The focus was never just to generate cheap traffic. The goal was to attract people with real interest in outdoor living, home improvement, and premium pergola solutions.
Google Ads
Google Ads played a different role in the system: capturing existing demand.
People searching for bioclimatic pergolas, pergola suppliers, or outdoor shading solutions are already much closer to making a buying decision. Google Ads helped Penef appear in front of users with active commercial intent.
The campaigns were structured around relevant search intent and optimized to bring qualified users to the website.
The Google Ads strategy included:
- search campaign structure
- keyword targeting
- ad copywriting
- search intent segmentation
- ongoing optimization
- budget control
- lead generation focus
This allowed Penef to cover both sides of the market: people discovering the product through Meta and people actively searching for it on Google.
Long-Term Optimization
Because the cooperation has been running since 2023 and is still ongoing, the work has been focused on continuous improvement rather than one-time setup.
The campaigns, creatives, and website experience have been reviewed and adjusted based on performance.
This included testing new creatives, improving messaging, optimizing budgets, adjusting campaign structure, reviewing lead quality, and responding to seasonality.
For a product like bioclimatic pergolas, timing matters. Demand changes throughout the year, and the marketing system needs to adapt accordingly.
The long-term cooperation allowed Penef’s acquisition system to become more stable, more refined, and more aligned with actual business results over time.
What Was Delivered
The cooperation included:

The Result
Penef now has a complete digital acquisition system supporting its main product category: bioclimatic pergolas.
The brand has a modern, conversion-focused website, a consistent stream of advertising creatives, and active performance campaigns across Meta and Google.
The system helps Penef reach both cold audiences and high-intent search users, turning attention into website visits and website visits into inquiries.
Most importantly, the cooperation has continued since 2023, showing that the system is not just a short-term campaign, but an ongoing growth channel for the business.
Key Takeaway
High-ticket home improvement products need more than basic advertising.
They need a connected system: strong creatives, a conversion-focused website, demand generation, demand capture, and continuous optimization.
For Penef, I built and continue to manage that system — from website development to creative production to performance marketing.
